    Number pattern prediction.
What could the next number be in each sequence?

    ๐Ÿ™‚ = Correct, โ˜น๏ธ = Incorrect

    ๐Ÿ“Œ Rules

โ€ข Identify the step-by-step rule: Look closely at how the number changes from step to step. Patterns can grow by adding a fixed amount (e.g. +5 mph every hour), multiplying by a ratio (e.g. doubling ร—2 or tripling ร—3), or applying a combined daily change.

โ€ข Calculate multi-step daily changes: If a sequence has both an increase and a decrease each day, calculate the overall net change per day first. For example, adding 100ml and losing 20ml to evaporation means a net gain of 80ml per day (100 – 20 = 80ml).

    ๐Ÿ’ก Tips

โ€ข Count forward carefully to the exact term requested: If a question asks for the 7th number or the value after 4 steps, write out each step one by one rather than stopping at the very next number in the list.

โ€ข Quick typing on our platform: Typing your answer is designed to be super quick and simple! Just type plain digits like 32 or 35 without adding any letters, spaces, or units.

    โš ๏ธ Warnings

โ€ข Check starting amounts and unit conversions: Always check whether a pattern starts with an existing amount. For example, an aquarium starting with 5 litres (5000ml) must have that initial volume added to the 7 days of net increases.

โ€ข Do not confuse adding with multiplying: Look at the whole pattern before deciding on the rule! A sequence like 4, 8, 16 doubles (ร—2), whereas 5, 10, 15, 20 increases by adding 5 each time.
