Why pupils love it

Fair, level-matched challenges

Pupils can only challenge players at their own level or higher, so nobody can pick an easy target.

Real SATs maths practice

Every duel uses a Year 6 SATs maths test, so winning and learning go hand in hand.

Put your credits to work

Space Credits earned from worksheets and games become the entry fee for a duel, which gives them a real purpose.

Rank higher on the leaderboard

Battle Stars and Battle Scars count towards your score on the global leaderboard.

Choose your opponent

Detectives (free)

Duel one of the detectives at no cost. A great way to practise head-to-head.

Fellow pupils (250 Space Credits)

Challenge another pupil at your level or higher and compete for Battle Stars.

Fair play built in

You can only challenge pupils who have been active in the last 24 hours, and not someone from your own class.

Battle Stars, Battle Scars and the global leaderboard

Every victory earns a Battle Star, and some wins also earn a Battle Scar. If a duel ends in a draw, both players receive 100 Space Credits.

Stars and Scars add to your total score on the global leaderboard, which ranks pupils by their Maths Master title, level and score, and shows their school names. Your War Room keeps track of every duel, from battles you have started to those you need to defend.
