Registering for an account
To register for an account, you must be at least 18 years old.
You will be asked to create an account with a username and password and to provide information appropriate to the type of account you are creating.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
For information about how we collect, use and protect personal information, please see our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to refuse or suspend an account where we have reasonable grounds to believe that the information provided is false, inaccurate or misleading, or where the account is otherwise being used in breach of these terms.
a) Individual Subscription
Subscription terms
When you register for an individual account, you will be required to provide information which enables us to create your account and process payment where applicable. You will then subscribe to a membership (“Solo Explorer“).
Solo Explorer: Β£39 per year
Our Solo Explorer Subscription is designed to help children learn Year 6 maths while allowing their parents or carers to monitor their progress.
We will provide you with access to the learning activities, resources and features included in the Solo Explorer plan for the duration of your subscription.
14-day free trial
Where a 14-day free trial is offered, you may use the service during the trial period without charge.
The date on which the trial ends, the date on which any payment will be taken and the applicable subscription price will be made clear when you sign up.
Unless you cancel before the end of the trial period, your subscription will continue in accordance with the terms shown when you sign up and the applicable subscription fee will become payable.
Payment and renewal
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, the Solo Explorer Subscription is an annual subscription which renews automatically each year until cancelled.
All our payments are taken by a third-party payment provider, currently Stripe. You should check Stripe’s terms and conditions and privacy policy before making a payment.
By subscribing, you authorise the applicable subscription fee to be charged using your chosen payment method when payment is due.
We reserve the right to change the price of the Solo Explorer Subscription, but we will notify you of any price change before it takes effect.
Cancellation of the Solo Explorer Subscription
You can cancel your Solo Explorer Subscription through your account or using any cancellation facility provided by our payment provider.
If you choose to contact us directly to request cancellation, please email us at info@mathsforsats.com.
To give us a reasonable opportunity to process a cancellation before an automatic renewal payment is taken, we ask that you give us at least 3 working days’ notice before the renewal date when cancelling by email.
If we receive an email cancellation request less than 3 working days before the renewal date, we will process the cancellation as soon as reasonably practicable. However, the renewal payment may already have been processed before we are able to action the request.
Where a renewal payment has been processed before we receive or can action a cancellation request, cancellation will normally prevent future renewal payments and your access will normally continue until the end of the period for which you have paid.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory cancellation or refund rights that may apply to you.
