Questions about the leaderboards

What is the đź‘‘ Ranked page?

đź‘‘ Ranked is the home of every leaderboard on MathsForSATs. It brings together the game leaderboards, the monthly Top Class Awards, the global Maths Master rankings and the Hall of Fame, so you can see who is leading at a glance.

Which leaderboards are there?

There are leaderboards for Nova Command, Wild Chase and Popcorn Panic, a global Maths Master leaderboard, the monthly Top Class Awards for classes, and a Hall of Fame celebrating pupils who have claimed Crowns.

How do I get on a leaderboard?

Play the games and earn points. Each board counts something different, such as your best mission score in Nova Command, the distance you survive in Wild Chase, the Booms you win in Popcorn Panic, or your level and total score on the global board.

Are school names shown?

Yes. The leaderboards show the school beside each pupil, and the Top Class Awards show the school and class, so schools can celebrate their high achievers.

Do teachers appear on the leaderboards?

No. Teacher and staff accounts are left off the boards, so the rankings celebrate pupils only.

How do the Top Class Awards work?

Points earned by the pupils in a class are added together for the month, and the classes with the most points rise to the top. The winning class each month is remembered in the Hall of Champions. The class awards pause during the summer break.

What is the Champion’s Vault?

The Champion’s Vault is a personal trophy room for eligible members. It shows milestones reached and top finishes, and it is where Crowns are claimed. Members with access see it at the top of this page when they are logged in.

What are My Chronicles?

My Chronicles is a personal book that writes itself. At the start of each month, a new chapter is added for every pupil who practised, recording the previous month’s accuracy, knowledge areas, honours earned, companions and leaderboard position. Over time, the chapters build into a record of the pupil’s learning journey that can be printed or saved as a PDF.

Can teachers see My Chronicles?

Teachers can open the Chronicle of any pupil in their own class from a class roster, which makes it a useful way to review progress over time.
