Compare and order whole numbers using place value and inequality symbols.

    ๐Ÿ™‚ = Correct, โ˜น๏ธ = Incorrect

    ๐Ÿ“Œ Rules

โ€ข Count the number of digits first: numbers with more digits are always greater than numbers with fewer digits.

โ€ข If the digit counts are equal, start comparing from the leftmost column with the highest place value.

โ€ข Move column by column to the right until you find digits that are different to decide which number is larger.

    ๐Ÿ’ก Tips

โ€ข Line up your numbers vertically by place value columns to make comparing them much easier.

โ€ข Check whether the question asks for ascending order (smallest to largest) or descending order (largest to smallest).

โ€ข Our platform keeps typing quick and simple by using plain digits only, so there is no need to add any spaces or commas when typing numbers like 1500000.

    โš ๏ธ Warnings

โ€ข Do not just look at the starting digit: 95000 is smaller than 120000 because 120000 has more digits.
