    Complete the conversions.

    ๐Ÿ™‚ = Correct, โ˜น๏ธ = Incorrect

    ๐Ÿ“Œ Rules

โ€ข Converting from larger to smaller units (Multiply): When changing a larger unit into a smaller unit, multiply by the conversion factor (10, 100, or 1000). For example, to convert 4kg into grams, multiply by 1000 (4 ร— 1000 = 4000g).

โ€ข Converting from smaller to larger units (Divide): When changing a smaller unit into a larger unit, divide by the conversion factor. For example, to convert 2500m into kilometres, divide by 1000 (2500 รท 1000 = 2.5km).

    ๐Ÿ’ก Tips

    โ€ข Memorize key metric conversion factors: Length uses 10mm = 1cm, 100cm = 1m, and 1000m = 1km. Mass uses 1000g = 1kg. Capacity uses 1000ml = 1l.

โ€ข Quick typing on our platform: Typing your answer is designed to be super quick and simple! Just type plain digits or decimals like 4000 or 2.5 without adding any commas or spaces.

    โš ๏ธ Warnings

โ€ข Do not confuse multiplying and dividing: Going to a smaller unit gives a larger number of units (multiply), while going to a larger unit gives a smaller number of units (divide). Doing 4 รท 1000 = 0.004g for 4kg is incorrect!

โ€ข Watch out for 100 vs 1000: Length has different multipliers: use 10 for mm to cm, 100 for cm to m, and 1000 for m to km. Dividing 350cm by 1000 instead of 100 would give an incorrect answer of 0.35m instead of 3.5m.
