Solve division problems using 1 and 2-digit divisors.
    Donโ€™t include any symbols.

    ๐Ÿ™‚ = Correct, โ˜น๏ธ = Incorrect

    ๐Ÿ“Œ Rules

โ€ข Follow the steps in order: Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Bring down! Think of sharing 432 marbles into 12 equal boxes: divide to see how many 12s fit into 43 (3 times), multiply 3 ร— 12 = 36, subtract 43 – 36 = 7, and bring down the 2 to make 72.

โ€ข Always align your digits carefully in columns directly above the number you are dividing so each digit keeps its correct place value.

    ๐Ÿ’ก Tips

โ€ข Write out the first few multiples of your divisor at the top of your page before starting (for example, for 12, list 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72). This makes finding how many times the divisor fits into each part super easy!

โ€ข When typing your final answers on our platform, keep typing quick and simple by using plain digits only (for example, write 10000, not 10,000 or 10 000). The answer box handles the rest automatically!

    โš ๏ธ Warnings

โ€ข Do not forget to check that your subtraction answer is smaller than your divisor! In 432 รท 12, if you subtract and get 15 left over, 12 could have fitted in one more time (4 times instead of 3 โ˜น๏ธ).

โ€ข Do not skip writing a 0 in your quotient if a digit cannot be divided! If 12 goes into a digit 0 times, place 0 above that digit before bringing down the next number ๐Ÿ™‚.
