Welcome to MathsForSATs.com – the maths adventure where YOU rise through the ranks and become a Level 10 Maths Master!
Think of it like a game: solve challenges, earn rewards, level up, and climb the leaderboard!

Your goal is to reach Level 10 and earn the title of Maths Master.
You can earn Marks by:
- Completing Practise worksheets
- Solving real-world problems in Apply worksheets
- Taking on epic Tests
- Cracking clues in Detective Stories
🔥 Levels, Leaderboards & Power-Ups
Your Level shows your skill and is the main thing used to rank players on the Leaderboard.
To level up, you’ll need a mix of:
- Marks
- Battle Stars ⭐
- Battle Scars ⚔️
You win Battle Stars and Battle Scars by winning challenges in Tests.
In a Test challenge, you compete against one of our detectives – Jack, Amira, Emma, Lucy or Oliver. Score higher than them and you win! 🏆
⚠️ Play Fair!
We love brave thinkers – but we don’t like cheating. If someone tries to cheat (for example, by repeating the same test over and over), they get a Black Stain on their profile.
This is serious and can lead to:
- Losing points
- Losing awards
- Dropping to a lower Level
So always play fair and use your brain power!

Here are some of the ways teachers use MathsForSATs in the classroom and beyond:
Daily Challenges – A new and exciting worksheet or mini-test is available every day, each one packed with logic puzzles, real-life problems, and surprising twists. Ideal for morning work, lesson starters, homework, or independent challenge time.
Learn Worksheets – These introduce new concepts and help pupils understand what is expected of them. They include instant feedback and a range of interactive maths games and quizzes, making them ideal for whole-class teaching or small-group activities.
Practise Worksheets – Designed to stretch thinking, these worksheets offer a higher level of challenge and are perfect for extension work or high achievers who enjoy extra maths tasks. Every worksheet is automatically marked, providing instant feedback, and teachers can review pupil progress at any time.
Apply Worksheets – These story-based challenges bring maths to life through real-world scenarios. Teachers often set them as engaging homework tasks or problem-solving lessons. They are automatically marked on completion, and all results are available immediately.
Tests – Each test contains 36 mostly reasoning-style questions, split into three parts. You can use all parts together as a realistic mock SATs paper, or individually for classroom challenges or homework. Tests are automatically marked, giving instant feedback, and pupil responses are saved for review.
Detective Stories – These immersive mysteries combine maths with logic, reasoning, and cross-curricular links such as history, geography, and science. Though sometimes complex, they only require clear thinking and KS2-level maths knowledge—perfect for developing problem-solving skills.
